I like it! I usually don’t go much for glamour (I am more of a nature-inspired person) but I have an odd weakness for glamorous vanity displays. I don’t really like gold or shiny things anywhere else in my life, but put them on a vanity with a perfume bottle or a glass jewelry box and the super girly side of me that usually seems non-existent pops out and gets all giddy. Part of what I don’t like about Hollywood glamour decor is that it comes across to me as pretentious. So, to me, this project could not have turned out more perfect. Its got the Hollywood glamour sparkle and shine, but a handmade, carefree, imperfect edge that says “life can be fun, too.”
