Learn how to style a DIY pom pom throw for summer. The best thing about this project is that it’s super easy to make and so much fun!
We’re all for a quick throw blanket that you can toss in your bag for nights on the beach, evening gatherings with friends, awkward flights next to someone you hope doesn’t talk to you for four hours nonstop. (Was that too honest?)
And we’re especially for anything that adds a touch of summer color to the living room.
This lightweight Summer DIY Pom Pom Throw Blanket is just what you need for all of the above.
Bonus — it’s super inexpensive to make.
I’ve pretty much been sticking with whites, golds, and a few natural woods with spots of color here and there for the studio.
Plus, it just happens that pom poms also closely resemble polka dots. Basically, I’m just winning left and right with this little project.
Also, check out this Polka Dot DIY Bicycle Basket if you want to cruise around in style when spring and summer roll around
But I solemnly swear to limit my amount of mid-work day naps..
P.S. How awesome are the white leather desk chairs Wayfair provided for the studio? I can’t wait to show you the finished tour!
What is a Throw Blanket?
A throw blanket is a small blanket typically used for decoration or added warmth. Throw blankets are often placed on sofas, chairs, or beds.
They come in a variety of materials, including cotton, wool, and fleece. Some throw blankets even have pom poms or tassels for added flair!
You could also add a touch of fall to your picnic by making a DIY Watercolor Throw Blanket.
