Behind The Scene Lately 5/23

Well friends, it’s been an eventful week. So far it’s involved cake, birthday candles, my Dad coming into town, and my very first official studio door. I think I could cry happy tears right now.

It was really encouraging to hear all of your kind words from this little picture on Instagram. It’s a surreal feeling to have my own space, but more importantly just being able to look back and know how much God had blessed my journey so far, both the good and the bad days. I’ll definitely be writing a post to share my story with you and a few words of encouragement I heard along the way that made a huge difference to me.

In more party news, how amazing was this box full of Poppies For Grace goodies (see top photo)? It was at least two times bigger than this, but I’ve got to keep some things mysterious around here!

I’m working on a collaboration with Decor View, and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so fancy! Having an interior decorator come by the studio to discuss window treatments is definitely not something I’m used to, but it’s just amazing how much they know about every little detail. I’ve loved the process so far and I’m excited to show you the end results in a few weeks.

I hope you all have a fun weekend! I’ll be spending it trying not to get into too much board game and movie night trouble while my Dad is in town. Having family around is just the best, isn’t it?
