Introducing the Poison Apple Cocktail, an autumnal blend of crisp apple flavors, fragrant fall spices, art crimson cranberry, and a sinful splash of spirits for a drink that’s wickedly delicious.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, what’s the most delicious cocktail of them all? If mirrors could talk, this Poison Apple cocktail just might be their answer!
I, Ashley mixed up a moody autumnal drink that has neither pumpkin or bourbon in it, yet it still screams “fall” thanks to apples, tart crimson cranberry, and fragrant backing spices. It especially makes for a fun Halloween cocktail.
The cocktail features apple brandy, an apple based spirit that is perfectly fitting for fall libations. It makes for great spirit heavy drinks like Coffee Old Fashioned’s as well as fruit forward drinks like this one.
Plus, it’s perfect to sip on well through Thanksgiving too. Be warned though, having a few too many of these may cause you to fall into a deep sleep!
Ingredients Needed to Make a Poison Apple Cocktail
Apple or fresh apple juice
Apple brandy or calvados
Cranberry juice
Real grenadine syrup — Fun fact: Real grenadine is made from pomegranates and is not too sweet, unlike the artificial grenadine which is made from corn syrup and food dye. Small Hands and Liber & Co make great grenadines or you can make your own!
Egg white
Nutmeg
Cinnamon — To garnish

- 2 oz apple brandy or calvados
- 3 oz fresh apple juice
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- 1/2 oz grenadine syrup
- 1 egg white
- 2 dash nutmeg
- 4 dash cinnamon
- 1 green apple slice for garnish
- 1 dash cinnamon for garnish

Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, add all ingredients (aside from the garnishes).
- Add ice and shake until chill. Strain into a large coupe glass.
- Garnish with apple slice and dash of cinnamon.
