Giving Back: A FREE DIY Workshop + BARC Houston Animal Adoption Event

This post is sponsored by State Farm®.

You guys, my inner pet lover is FREAKING OUT over today’s post. If I do nothing else in my blogging career, may it be known that this may be my favorite set of photos we’ve ever done. Possibly because of the amount of fur, cute props, and the name “Trixie” all being involved, but hey.

Enough about me, let’s talk about our FREE DIY workshop at our studio & BARC Houston animal adoption event that we’ll be hosting in October thanks to State Farm! The last time we hosted a free DIY workshop, it sold out in 30 minutes, so I’m pumped about being able to bring you all another chance to do some crafting and cocktail’ing with us. Plus this time it’s even for a good cause!

We’ll be making DIY animal bed pillows during our workshop on Thursday, October 5th from 6:30-8:00 pm and we’ll be donating the beds to BARC Houston during our $5 pet adoption event Saturday, October 7th from noon-3pm. While we have limited spots available for our workshop, anyone can come to the pet adoption event, even if it’s just to play with the animals for a little outside fresh air. They need volunteers and extra play time now more than ever after Hurricane Harvey!

You can RSVP for the workshop right here, and RSVP for playing with the animals and saying hi while we’re at BARC on Saturday right here! In case you’re not local to be able to attend, you can still follow along online via #sugarandclothgivesback.

In the meantime, here’s a cute little video version of our photo shoot, and a whole slew of furry love images to oh’ and ah’ over…

    • Aw, this makes my day! You can totally adopt from afar! This cutie’s name is Trixie, and she was a hurricane harvey survivor, but she’s already found a home!!
