Little Sugar & Cloth: Our Nursery Room Design Plan!

I’m FINALLY getting my ducks in a row enough to share our nursery room design plan for baby Gwen! Yes, I know she was born almost three weeks ago, I’m clearly taking maternity leave very seriously, ha!

The room we decided to turn into the nursery was a VERY small guest space that we had before starting renovations. Some of you may remember that reveal from a few years ago! It was really too small for guests to begin with, which made it an easy decision and perfect size for her nursery…

Above was the original mood board that I’d put together for her nursery inspiration, and the three main pieces on the left I knew were must-haves for the space that I wanted to build on.

Below was my shopping list for the space once we got to picking out the rest of the pieces, and two have them I had custom made. One being this really fun “She’s magic, that one.” neon sign from Brite Lite Tribe, and a giant shaggy pom pom cushion from the Pom Pom Projekt.

The rest of the elements are almost entirely from Wayfair, which we also worked with for our recent living room makeover, too! I’m also next level obsessed with this flamingo accent wallpaper we picked out.

Those are amazing pieces – love the wallpaper! While your little one is less mobile – think of how you want to protect the crib railing from future teething. We didn’t and when it happened we were so tired because, well, active child+we both work. by the time I had a plan, it was too late. Only piece we splurged on in our nursery too.
