#SUGARANDCLOTHGIVESBACK: Our Newest, Most Exciting Collaboration!!

This post is sponsored by State Farm®.

After almost 6 years of blogging (!!), I can very thankfully say that I’ve crossed off quite a few bucket list partnerships from my list. As it turns out, there are always some surprise dream opportunities that happen to land in front of us, and our newest, most exciting collaboration this year happens to be one of them!

If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you might remember this post I wrote announcing that we’d be giving back 5% of all sponsored campaigns to charity and that I was itching for a new way to utilize the platform that we’ve built with Sugar & Cloth for good. Because of that post, we happened to catch the eye of our friends over at State Farm who were looking to raise awareness for Neighborhood of Good™ to turn caring into even more doing.

After a lot of squealing and running around my living room clapping like a maniac, I’m so excited to announce that we’ll be working with them for the remainder of 2017 (and beyond! I’m actually just telling myself that, but wishful thinking never hurt anyone, haha!) to inspire you to get involved in your communities. Here’s what we’ll be up to —

– Using some of our DIY skills for bringing the awesome to The Birthday Party Project to make the birthdays of homeless children extra special.

– A FREE DIY event held at our studio in Houston where we’ll be making DIY animal beds for donating to BARC Animal Shelter

– A FREE holiday and family photo event held in our studio to get your family madness snapped into a holiday portrait while also making cards to donate to The Holiday Project to make sure we’re bringing as many little tokens of joy as possible to those that may not receive anything for the holidays.

We’ll also be squeezing in a few more gushy things here and there to inspire you to get involved in your community, too, but I don’t want to spoil allll of the fun details just yet.

In the meantime, you can find ways to get involved alongside us right here. And again, a HUGE thank you State Farm for sponsoring these fun ideas for giving back.
