What I Bought on our Scandinavian Trip

One of the best parts about traveling is coming back with unique treasures that almost no one else will have! Or at least I like to tell myself I’m that unique, haha. I thought it would be fun to share some of the inspiring things I picked up during our recent Scandananavian cruise with Princess Cruises.

To set this shopping visual for you, I’m 99% sure I looked like a drunk monkey shoving bananas into a basket at basically every design store we went into. Jared was extremely proud to be with me then, I’m sure.

Sadly not every item is available to order online and/or ship to the states (though quite a few are!), but I did my best to locate the exact item or something comparable….

1. No S&C trip is complete without balloons! Similar color selection on amazon here.

2. How cool are these gold spring scissors?

3. Gradient wrapping paper for the win! Lagerhaus has the most amazing rainbow selection.  Similar paper here that you can download for free!

4. I plan to use this geometric trivet quite a bit! I found this one on Amara, which has a pretty similar vibe.

5. A pretty pink mug. I also really liked this tumbler that you can get online!

6. Jared is SO proud of spotting these marble mugs. If you really like the look of these, this guy has a pretty similar feel.

7. I’m a long time fan of Hay and have been eying this gold trinket tray for a while..

8. Rice is pretty much heaven for pastel lovers.  These pastel knives are everything.

9. I love a good patterned tea towel!

10. Jared and I are both obsessed with these black scissors.

11. This pillow is the perfect addition to our colorful studio.  I couldn’t find an exact match, but this is a close second.

12. I didn’t realize until we got home that this was actually a toilet roll holder and not a wall hook.  Ha! I guess that’s what happens when a store is in an entirely different language.. I also love this and this if you’re looking for something similar.

13. Gold metal drinking straws.  You can grab some here on Amazon!

14. We used these rainbow plates on my birthday and I’ll be so sad when they run out! They remind me of these Meri Meri ombre plates & cups.

15. Fell in love with this gold strainer from Bahne. The most similar one I could find was this gold colander!

16. The cutest pink plates! I found these super similar ones on Amazon.

17. Because every girl needs a gold serving basket fryer, obviously. I’m still on the hunt for one accessible to the U.S., so let me know if you find one!

18. So obsessed with terrazzo lately! This trivet was such a steal. Sadly I wasn’t able to find dupe, but check out this cute vase if you love the pattern!

Favorite shops: Lagerhaus / Normann Copenhagen / Rice / BahneFlying Tiger / Fazer
