Crab Salad Recipe

Equipment

  • Medium mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1/4 celery finely diced
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tbsp freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill finely chopped
  • 3-4 chives cut into small pieces
  • Salt and fresh-ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients: mayonnaise,sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, dill, chives, and salt and pepper.
  • Taste it and see if there are any flavors you’d like to adjust, like lemon,salt, and pepper.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the crab meat and celery, as well as anyother mix-ins you’d like to include.
  • Pour about 1/2 of the dressing over the crab meat and stir it just untilcoated.
  • Taste the salad to see if you’d like more dressing, and add more until you arehappy with the flavors and texture.
  • Refrigerate the crab salad until you are ready to serve it.
