Candy Cane Affogato Recipe
The perfect dessert for ending an elegant meal, a relaxed hangout with friends, or thawing out noses and voices.
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
- 16 oz white hot chocolate
- 1.5 tsp peppermint extract to taste
- 3 drops red food coloring
- 4 candy canes
Prepare the white hot chocolate.
Add 3-4 drops of red food coloring.
Flavor with 1.5-2 tsp of peppermint extract to taste.
Set out 4 clear glasses, and place 2 small scoops of vanilla ice cream in each.
Pour about half a cup of the peppermint hot chocolate over each.
Garnish with a candy cane, and serve immediately.
