Moscow Mule Float
- 6 oz ginger beer chilled
- 2.5 oz vodka To make this non-alcoholic, omit the vodka and add two more ounces of ginger beer.
- 3 scoop lime sorbet Recipe below. You can use store bought sorbet, but you will need to add a squeeze or two of lime to make it tart enough.
- 1 lime wheel for garnish
- 1 mint sprig for garnish
Lime Sorbet
- 2 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup lime juice
- zest from 4 limes
- 0.5 cup cup water
Lime Sorbet
Add 1 1/4 cup sugar and 1 1/4 cup water to saucepan on high. Heat until sugar dissolves and tale off the heat and cool the simple syrup
Mix in the lime juice, water and zest. Use an ice cream machine to freeze or pour into an air tight container and place in the freezer.
Stir mixture frequently until frozen to avoid large ice crystals from forming. Store for up to 3 months in the freezer.
