Ingredients

  • 2 small apple
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 pack cream cheese softened
  • 1 large egg or 2 tbsp of beaten egg
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pack puff pastry shells
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 F degrees.
  • Thinly dice the small apples and toss with the brown sugar and a few dashes of cinnamon.
  • In a medium size bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Break apart a pack of Puff Pastry Shells and bake in the oven for 15 minutes, until it’s mostly risen.
  • Remove from oven and use a knife to remove the “tops” or the inside from the shells.
  • Fill the shell 1/3rd of the way with the cream cheese mixture, and then fill the rest with the apples.
  • Bake in the oven for another 10 minutes at 375 degrees F, until the edges are brown.
