Whisk
- 1 lb crab meat
- 1/4 celery finely diced
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1-2 tbsp freshly-squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp fresh dill finely chopped
- 3-4 chives cut into small pieces
- Salt and fresh-ground pepper to taste
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients: mayonnaise,sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, dill, chives, and salt and pepper.
Taste it and see if there are any flavors you’d like to adjust, like lemon,salt, and pepper.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the crab meat and celery, as well as anyother mix-ins you’d like to include.
Pour about 1/2 of the dressing over the crab meat and stir it just untilcoated.
Taste the salad to see if you’d like more dressing, and add more until you arehappy with the flavors and texture.
Refrigerate the crab salad until you are ready to serve it.
