Cocktail pick
- 4 fl oz vodka
- 4 fl oz extra dry white vermouth
- 1/2 fl oz dill pickle juice
- 2 pickles for muddling and to garnish
- Ice
To prepare the garnish:
Using a potato peeler, slice a fine strip of a pickle.
Put the fine strip into the cocktail pick by forming a S shape.
To make the pickle martini:
Chill the martini glass in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
Muddle a pickle in a cocktail measuring cup to release all its juices.
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the extracted pickle juices into the cocktail shaker that is filled with ice cubes. Make sure to press the pickle well to extract all the flavors.
Add in 1/2 fluid ounce of pickle juice, 4 fluid ounce of vodka and 4 fluid ounce of extra dry white vermouth.
Shake well for about 1 minute or until chilled.
Take the glass out of the freezer and pour the cocktail in it. Garnish with a prepared cocktail pick.
