Hi Bri! We got inspiration here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candy_apple. There’s a reference photo of an “blue” apple dipped in sprinkles. Caramel apples are very similar though! They are whole apples covered completely in caramel.

This looks like a great recipe, but it’s not a candied apple, it’s a caramel apple macaron recipe.
