Hello Galadrielle! It could work but you won&#039;t get the vibrate colors from gel based food coloring that is more concentrated. You would need to use a lot of liquid food coloring. The colors would also immediately &quot;wash off&quot; quicker once you get a little wet. Hope this helps!]]></description>
