Our New Studio Meeting Room Before & After
Check out the before and after reveal of our new studio meeting room.

Thank goodness painting is therapeutic for me because holy smokes WHAT WAS I THINKING trying to expand the studio and renovate our house at the same time while also pregnant?!
In my defense, I didn’t know we were expecting baby girl when this whole hoorah started, but let’s just say I really, really needed the morale booster of finally seeing the before and after of our new studio meeting room!
After one major hurricane, about 138124 lessons learned the hard way on working with contractors and ordering product, and a long road of near deathly loud noises to get to this point, we finally have a very snazzy meeting space perfectly accented with the HGTV HOME™ by Sherwin-Williams Perfectly Polished Color Collection available at Lowe’s.
I literally cannot get enough of the blush pink doors!
We used Romance (HGSW2067) and now I’m ready to paint alllll the things blush pink.
While we still have our office/coworking space, new storage area, and new kitchen to share with you over the next few weeks (make that months if the last few months are any indication), I’m excited to have at least one finished space!
You may remember this snap from my initial studio expansion announcement post, and things have clearly come a long way since then.
Using HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams Color Collections made it super easy to find colors that complemented each other. There are 16 designer-inspired Color Collections, each with 20 paint colors that were selected to work together in any combination. I was instantly drawn the Perfectly Polished Color Collection because of the perfect blush pink (obviously!), and selected my colors from there.
We kept the walls bright with HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams in Pure White (HGSW4006) paint on the walls, trims, and baseboards. The doors are painted with two coats of HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams Romance (HGSW2067), and accented with gold knobs.
We painted Showcase® Interior Paint+Primer throughout the studio which has a new and improved stain-blocking formula. This advanced formula makes cleaning easy even after a stain has dried so I don’t have to clean up a mess right away.
Since we expanded into the warehouse side of our current studio building, the number one goal was to snag as much of the natural light from our current space and the hallway as we could, and the Pure White wall paint, oversized french doors, and windows made a MASSIVE difference in brightening up the space.
We used the marble tulip table we already had in the old studio for the meeting room and paired it with new white and gold chairs. Though you’ll rarely EVER see me styling black furniture, the credenzas were the perfect size for fitting on both sides of the french doors and I love the way they balance the space to not be too, too feminine.
All I had left to do was style some of the surfaces with pretty accents here and there! Clearly, the running theme here is blush pink, white, greenery, and gold.
Also, does anyone else buy cute books solely for the purpose of styling with them, or is that just me?!
I’m super excited to share our office space with you soon! We used the same color scheme for that space as well, and a whoooole lot of gold.
