Ingredients

  • 13 oz bar of dark chocolate (at least 72%)
  • 1 cup raw almonds or cashews, cut into large pieces
  • large flake sea salt

Instructions

  • Line a tray with parchment or waxed paper and set aside.
  • Chop the bar of chocolate into pieces and place in a heat proof bowl.
  • Put about an inch of water in the bottom of a small pot and bring
  • it to a simmer.
  • Place the chocolate bowl on top of the pot and melt, stirring occasionally.
  • Once it has melted completely, stir in the nuts.
  • Spoon the mixture out onto the tray in 12 rounds.
  • Sprinkle the tops with a pinch of sea salt flakes.
  • Allow the chocolate to harden completely.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
  • Tip: Avoid putting the chocolate in the freezer or fridge, as it can cause the chocolate to look white and powdery on the outside.
