Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 baguette
  • Pear slices
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper
  • Honey
  • Rosemary sprig optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Cut the baguette at an angle into 1/2" thick slices. Toast the sliced baguettes long enough to get a golden brown on both sides.
  • Divide ricotta cheese among slices of toasted baguette. 
  • Top each piece with several ripe pear slices.
  • Season with a pinch of salt and pepper and drizzle each with honey.
  • Optional: Add a tiny sprig of rosemary to the top to garnish.

Notes

Makes for 16 small crostini or 8 large crostini.
