Equipment

  • 9″x13″ baking dish
  • Parchment paper
  • Cooking spray
  • Spatula or mixing spoon

Ingredients

  • 3 cup Lucky Charms cereal
  • 3 cups Chex cereal
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Grease the dish and a spatula with a cooking spray or butter. This prevents the cereal bars from sticking.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the butter and marshmallows on high for 3 minutes, quickly stirring in between after 2 minutes. The butter and marshmallows should be completely melted and well combined.
  • Once the marshmallow mixture is smooth, add the Lucky Charms cereal to the bowl. Quickly fold the cereal into the marshmallow mixture until it is evenly coated.
  • Allow the cereal bars to set at room temperature for about 10 minutes or until solidified before serving.
