Spring Fling Cocktail Recipe

Fall in love with the Spring Fling Cocktail! Also called the Rose Garden Fizz, this bubbly beauty mixes gin, St. Germain, and rose water with whimsical peony ice cubes for a flirty, floral sip.

Ingredients

To make the cocktail:

  • 1 oz gin
  • 3/4 oz St. Germain or any elderflower liqueur of your choice
  • 1/2 oz lemon simple syrup recipe below
  • 8 drop rose water
  • 5 oz club soda
  • 1 lemon peel optional for garnish
  • Edible flower ice cubes

To make the lemon syrup:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 lemon for the zest

Instructions

To make the edible flower ice cubes:

  • Freeze clean, edible peony petals or edible flowers of your choice into large ice cubes using distilled or boiled water (cooled) for clearer cubes.

To make the lemon syrup:

  • Combine fresh lemon juice, sugar, lemon zest and water in a small saucepan. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves to a boil. Let it cool.

To make the cocktail:

  • In a cocktail shaker with flower ice cubes, add gin, St. Germain, lemon syrup, and rose water. Shake into chilled.
  • Strain mixture into a glass filled with flower ice.
  • Top with club soda.
  • Optional: Garnish with a lemon peel or edible flower if desired.
