The Spring Bridal Shower We Hosted
Spring Bridal Shower –– We threw a perfectly floral and bright spring bridal shower for a friend this past week in the studio, and we’re super excited to share it with you!
I’ve been so so excited to share the spring bridal shower we hosted for our friend, Aelish in the studio last weekend, alongside our good gal pal Becca!
It’s not too often we get to actually host real parties in the studio. So you may have already seen some snippets of it on Instagram because I get a liiiittle excited when we do get to deck it out!
Aelish gave us her color scheme and favorite things here and there to base the party off of. And then, we added a few fun twists to it to make it come to life.
Not to worry. I’m going to give you the full run down in case you’re looking for some entertaining inspiration coming up this spring and summer too!
One of the very first things I did was take her color scheme and dream up some fun traditional wedding nods to throw in here and there. We were able to make this super cute “wedding cake” cookies thank to the help of Nutmeg & Honeybee.
She shipped us the cookies separately. And then, we used cookie icing to adhere them in little stacks with candied raspberries on top.
We also topped mini bundt cakes with the candied raspberries to tie the two together.
Since the bridal shower was during brunch hours, we went with one of her local favorites, Tacos A Go Go, for breakfast tacos, fruit, and chips and salsa.
Spring Bridal Shower Focal Point | Balloon Arch
I wanted to build a cool focal point for the room. So we tried our hand at The House That Lars Built’s balloon arch. And after some trial and error, we got it going!
I also added little yellow balloon “lemons” to it by taping a piece of green construction paper to tie in the color scheme and brunch theme.
I love the way it turned out as a big accent behind the marble desk we used as a buffet table!
As always, Blush & Vine TOTALLY NAILED IT with the flowers! I swear those girls are rockstars!
They arranged all of the centerpieces in CB2 Isadore and gatz vases, plus put a few sprigs along the balloon arch, and a sash on the DIY bar cart.
Spring Bridal Shower Table Setting
We also used these cute pinstripe linen napkins, small white ceramic platters, glass coupes, and short tasting glasses from CB2 as well.
To cut out on the dishes we’d have to clean I just bought some metallic gold plastic utensils from Amazon for the flatware.
To tie it all together, we had gilded place cards printed from Minted to match the bridal brunch invitation suite we chose, and they turned out so perfectly!
On top of sharing the mini cookie cakes on the food table, we also used them as table setting accents at each seat along with the place cards, and I’m so glad we did!
It added the perfect touch of color and personality to it.
Spring Bridal Shower Cocktail Idea
For drinks we did a spin on mimosas by offering watermelon and orange juices to mix with champagne, a splash of Grand Marnier, and raspberry or blood orange garnishes and they were delicious!
I hope you love the way it turned out as much as we did, it was so fun to see it all come together!
