Sassy DIY Printable Wall Art & Digital Wallpapers — Sharing some free downloadable Sassy DIY Printable Wall Art and Wallpaper that we made with our uber talented friend Megan Roy.
We’re basically here for two reasons. One because everyone needs some Sassy DIY Printable Wall Art that we made with our uber talented friend Megan Roy.
And two, because I’m really into taking photos of our new studio furniture. It’s like getting new school clothes, but for adults.
You can’t exactly wear it around immediately like a new backpack. So instead I just take a million photos of it to share with you and play it off as a DIY post, ha!
It was WAY past time to get rid of our old studio sofa. I loved the white, but it was literally miserable to keep clean.
We replaced it with a grey sofa for a little while. After MUCH encouragement from Jared, we landed on this dreamy sofa from Article.
I’ve already taken approximately five naps on it, and can safely say it’s the softest, buttery leather of all time. Or at least, this is coming from the girl who’s never owned a leather sofa before.
We also snagged a super cute, Happy pink side chair from Article to go with it. But I didn’t want give too much away since you’ll be seeing it in another DIY post soon!
Oh, and we also are trying out this wood floor look in part of the studio (another reason I didn’t show you the full shot). Do you all like the wood look, or no?!
It’s just a nice change of pace with the Article sofa. I think we all needed a breath of fresh air around here to break up the white on white everything, don’t you?
In other news, I think you’re going to love Megan’s printable designs! We came up with a few of the ideas ourselves (hello, pool floats ha!)…
Why Choose Digital Art?
If you are getting the art printed at the local print shop, it might cost a fortune in shipping costs. If you use digital printing, all you have to do is upload your files and then order them. This saves you money in shipping expenses!
What Type Of Paper Should I Get?
When choosing the right paper, you want to pick one that has a nice matte finish. This will make your artwork or patterns look really professional!
You also want to pick a thick enough paper so it doesn’t tear when hung up. For digital prints, consider choosing 220 lb paper. It can help to ask someone who works at a photo lab if they have any old paper around from previous jobs.
In addition, you might want to consider getting a paper that isn’t so thin it rips when it is rolled up. If you are looking for a thinner type of paper, try out 170, but this can cause your prints to wrinkle.
