Ideas for Hosting An Oscars Party at Home Without Even Cooking
I’ll be honest, I could accurately finish A LOT of sentences with the phrase “…without even cooking”, but in this instance, we’re talking a watch party. Particularly, ideas for hosting an Oscars party at home without even cooking. I’m basically a professional at how to skip the kitchen, so I feel confident in my advice giving here.
Of course, it’s easy to put together some cheese plates, set out the wine, and a bowl of chips, but when it comes to the Oscars, it just feels like it needs to be more sophisticated. This is where uberEATS comes in. Not only does this mean you don’t have to cook, but you can choose from as fancy or as casual of a menu as you’d like and it gets DELIVERED to you! Literally, you can have your dinner party delivered to your door. These are beautiful times that we live in, my friends.
For our watch party inspiration, I picked lots of bites from Adair Kitchen to make a full spread and sweets from Bite Macarons here in Houston — they’re two of my favorites! I paired the food with some of our entertaining ware from our product line, a few flowers, and voila!
Not to mention I’m also a self-proclaimed professional uberEATS customer on account of the fact that packing up a newborn to go out to eat is no small feat, so we clearly use it often. Some of my other favorites are Menchie’s, Juice Girl, Pink’s Pizza, Good Dog, Weight’s + Measures, El Tiempo, Crave Cupcakes, Eloise Nichols, Thai Village, Bebidas, and Mala Sichuan.
Because I’m shameless, I picked out all of our own tabletop products for styling the food… as shameless people do. I used the marble and gold coasters with pinstripe coupes, marble and gold serving trays, our white cake stand for macarons, blush pink and gold paper plates and pinstripe napkin sets, white and gold flatware, and all three of our dessert cups for serving light bites.
Have you all used uberEATS for hosting a party yet? What are some of your local favorites?!
