Our Easter in Photos + The Weekly Edit

the smiths on easter 2020

Happy Easter Monday from our little family to yours! I think we can all agree it was a unique Easter to remember.

The silver lining is we actually managed to get a few family photos without pajamas on for the first time in what feels like forever.

Our Easter had a bit of a rocky start when we finally realized that we have a mailbox thief. (If you have any ideas on how to combat this, please let me know!). We’ve had small packages go missing several times in the last few weeks, and it’s now official that someone is snatching things from us.

Luckily, I was able to pull some last-minute things together for Gwen’s Easter basket with a Shipt delivery from Target, but it makes me sad to think someone stole the few things I ordered for her. At least a few cheap Trolls tattoos made her just as happy!

Here are some photos from our day…

It took quite a lot of bribing, but it melts my heart to see Gwen as such a loving big sis in these matching outfit photos!

My friend Esther owns Cuteheads and she makes the CUTEST matching outfits for girls.

Needless to say, a bubble machine is making us very popular with Gwen during social distancing. Haha!

Here’s a quick snap of the things I pulled together for Gwen’s Easter basket. Thank goodness Trolls and candy is always a hit with her.

Naturally, she wanted to put her Trolls tattoos on immediately.

Since I’m apparently a stage mom, I only let her put them where they wouldn’t show when she had her Easter dress on for photos, haha!

  1. Your babies are very beautiful, and pictures are also very nice. I think, we should make nice photos on different festivals, so that we can remember our pleasant memories. Dissertation writing services.

  2. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with someone stealing from you! That’s so awful. :( I wonder if one of those Ring doorbells might help you find out who it is?

I’m glad you were able to still make the holiday special, regardless. :) Such a cutie you have there!

    • Thanks, Natalie! It makes us really sad that someone is stealing our things! Not to mention, that’s so illegal.

  3. I hate to hear that you’re experiencing such an unpleasant situation. When such things happen to me, I do my best to hope it was out of desperation to provide for someone they love. That being said, a large locking mailbox can easily be found and a number of options are fairly reasonably priced. A quick search for those terms will provide many options. Sadly, such issues are likely to be on the rise, so the price of one will be cheaper than the continual loss of your items. Stay safe out there!

    • Thank you, Lisa Marie! We hope you stay safe too! A large locking mailbox is definitely a good idea. We have a huge issue with the big packages too and wish they could be placed somewhere safe also.
