- 10 oz dark chocolate finely chopped
- 3 oz white chocolate finely chopped
- 1 pint ice cream store bought or homeade
Place a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in the freezer.
Melt the dark and white chocolates together in a medium heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Stir often, until chocolates have just melted. Remove from heat and transfer chocolate into a separate bowl to cool slightly.
Working quickly, scoop out an ice cream ball. Drop the packed ice cream scoop into the bowl of melted chocolate. Coating it evenly.
Carefully removed the dipped ice cream with a skewer. Shake off any excess chocolate.
Place the dipped ice cream bon bon onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining ice cream. Then, freeze until firm and chocolate coating hardens completely, about 30 minutes.
