3 Ingredient Ice Cream Bon Bons Recipe

Equipment

  • Parchment paper
  • Medium heatproof bowl
  • Medium saucepan

Ingredients

  • 10 oz dark chocolate finely chopped
  • 3 oz white chocolate finely chopped
  • 1 pint ice cream store bought or homeade

Instructions

  • Place a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in the freezer.
  • Melt the dark and white chocolates together in a medium heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Stir often, until chocolates have just melted. Remove from heat and transfer chocolate into a separate bowl to cool slightly.
  • Working quickly, scoop out an ice cream ball. Drop the packed ice cream scoop into the bowl of melted chocolate. Coating it evenly.
  • Carefully removed the dipped ice cream with a skewer. Shake off any excess chocolate.
  • Place the dipped ice cream bon bon onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining ice cream. Then, freeze until firm and chocolate coating hardens completely, about 30 minutes.
