Pineapple Beertails Recipe

Equipment

  • Sealable bottle or container with a 32-ounce or 4-cup capacity

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup gin or vodka
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 3/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 3/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • IPA beer to top

Instructions

  • Combine all but the IPA in a sealable bottle or container Throw it in a cooler with the rest of your tailgate/picnic/barbecue beers and drinks. Make sure you throw at least one bottle of IPA in there!
  • When you're ready to serve, line up 8 plastic cups and fill with plenty of ice. Shake your bottle and pour out the mixture into the ice-filled cups, dividing evenly (you want about 1/2 cup in each glass). 
  • Top each drink with the IPA beer.
  • Optional: Garnish with mint and edible flowers.
