- 4 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp caramel sauce plus extra for rimming the glasses
- 1 vanilla cupcake
- 1 pinch sea salt plus extra to garnish
- 2 oz liquor optional of your choice but vodka, bourbon and/or caramel-flavored liqueur work well
- Whipped cream
- Gold sprinkles
To prep the shot glasses: Dip the rims of your shot glasses into a shallow dish of caramel sauce to coat the edges. Then, carefully dip the caramel-coated rims into a dish of gold sprinkles, allowing the excess to fall off.
In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk caramel sauce, milk, cupcake and liquor (if using). Blend until smooth and well combined.
Pour a dab of caramel to each glass.
Carefully pour the milkshake mixture into the prepared shot glasses.
Top with whip cream and a pinch of sea salt! Serve immediately while the shots are cold and the whipped cream is fresh.
