- 2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk use 2% reduced fat milk
- 3/4 cup pure cane sugar
- 2 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur
- 1/2 tsp salt
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, and salt until the sugar dissolves.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to overnight), or until the mixture is fully chilled.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until thick and creamy. Keep in mind that alcohol increases the freeze point so the ice cream will be similar to soft serve in consistency.
Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up. Or serve immediately. Scoop into bowls with chocolate ice cream. For extra indulgence, top with chocolate homemade caramel drizzle (recipe below).
