Kumquat Orange Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 1/2 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur like Dry Curaçao
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz amber agave syrup
  • 4 kumquat muddled
  • 2 kumquat skewered
  • Salt for rim

Instructions

  • Salt the rim by pouring kosher salt onto a plate. Run a lime slice around the glass rim, then dip it into the salt.
  • Juice all the fruits: orange and lime.
  • In the cocktail shaker, muddle the kumquats.
  • Add all ingredients (except garnish) to a shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds, until well chilled.
  • Double strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with the kumquats on a skewer garnish, serve, and enjoy!
