- 1 1/2 oz blanco tequila
- 1 1/2 oz fresh orange juice
- 1/2 oz orange liqueur like Dry Curaçao
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz amber agave syrup
- 4 kumquat muddled
- 2 kumquat skewered
- Salt for rim
Salt the rim by pouring kosher salt onto a plate. Run a lime slice around the glass rim, then dip it into the salt.
Juice all the fruits: orange and lime.
In the cocktail shaker, muddle the kumquats.
Add all ingredients (except garnish) to a shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds, until well chilled.
Double strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with the kumquats on a skewer garnish, serve, and enjoy!
