Equipment

  • Cupcake pan
  • Cooking spray
  • Pizza cutter or knife

Ingredients

  • 1 brownie mix plus any ingredients the mix calls for, like eggs, oil, or water
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven according to the instructions on your brownie mix.
  • Lightly grease a cupcake pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Roll out the pie crust and cut circles large enough to line each cupcake cavity. Press the dough into each cup to form a crust.
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
  • Spoon the brownie batter into each pie crust–lined cup, filling about 2/3 of the way full.
  • Roll out the remaining pie crust and use a pizza cutter to cut thin strips. Arrange them on top of each brownie cup to resemble football seam laces.
  • Bake according to the brownie mix instructions (typically 18–22 minutes, but times may vary by oven). Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
