Sherry Berry Cobbler Cocktail Recipe

Raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries muddled together to give this ruby-hued drink a sweet-tart bite.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz dry sherry such as Amontillado
  • 4 raspberries
  • 3 blackberries
  • 3/4 fl oz lemon juice
  • 1/5 fl oz orange juice
  • 1/4 fl oz simple syrup
  • 1 mint sprig optional for garnish
  • 1 orange wheel optional for garnish
  • Berries optional for garnish
  • Crushed ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the sherry, berries, lemon juice, orange juice and simple syrup to release their juices and flavors.
  • Add ice and shake quickly for about 10 seconds.
  • Strain the cocktail mixture into a tall glass with crushed ice.
  • Top with additional crushed ice to rise above the glass.
  • Smack the mint on the side of the glass to release the oils before garnishing.
  • Optional: Garnish with orange wheel, berries and mint.
