- 4 cup Rice Krispie cereal
- 5 cup mini marshmallows divided
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter
- 4 graham cracker sheets crushed
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Line a 8"x8" baking pan with parchment paper or plastic wrap or lightly grease with nonstick cooking spray. This will make for easier removal of the bars to slice.
In a large saucepan over medium low heat, melt the butter. Add 4 cups of marshmallows and stir until just melted.
Gently fold in the rice cereal and crushed graham cracker crumbs into the melted marshmallow mixture until evenly coated.
Stir in the chocolate chips until well combined.
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. Let cool to set, about 30 minutes.
Sprinkle the top with the remaining marshmallows. Place the entire pan under the broiler to toast the marshmallows. When they have browned to your liking, remove and let cool slightly. Cut the treats into squares, and enjoy!
