A Christmas Cottage Gingerbread Party

‘Tis the season for more over-the-top holiday inspiration and even more reasons to love Walmart+.

I shared our crazy poolside Christmas decor photoshoot last year, and we’re back with another gingerbread cottage take on Christmas!

Since we recently moved and had to leave our previous playset behind, I figured a new playhouse was in order.

Fun fact: Items shipped from Walmart ship for free when you have a Walmart+ membership, which really saved us on this jumbo playhouse shipment!

It just so happened to be a double bonus that this kid’s playhouse was on sale from Walmart too!

Originally, I had big plans to paint the outside of the house along with these jumbo yard ornaments in my favorite colorful front door Christmas scheme.

After we started assembling everything, I decided I really loved red and blue for a nostalgic cottage theme, don’t you?!

I added a faux wreath, a cute inflatable reindeer, and classic outdoor string lights to top off the holiday look with items found at Walmart.

For the gingerbread party portion, I used my Walmart+ membership to have these items delivered with the unlimited free delivery benefit.

We ordered gingerbread houses with sprinkles, two fresh rosemary trees, and the CUTEST tree drink dispenser!

Be sure to sign up for a free 15 day trial for a Walmart+ membership just in time for holiday deliveries!

  3. I love the giant ornaments or as my 3 year old calls them “decorations for the tree”. You’ve inspired me to decorate her playhouse!
