What degree of procrastinator does it make me if I’ve literally had these DIY Geometric Embroidered Fans sitting on my computer since last June?!

I kid you not. We created, shot, and edited this project almost a full year ago. I’d say that level of extreme stalling is worthy of a trophy at the very least!

Needless to say, I’m really patting myself on the back for finally sharing the how-to for these babies.

They were originally whipped up as a finishing touch for the tropical garden party we hosted last summer,

But with everything we had going on, this project somehow slipped through the cracks to share the DIY!

They’re my favorite kind of project though because they require all of three materials (two of which you probably already own) and only take about 5 minutes to make…

Materials Needed To Make DIY Geometric Embroidered Fans

How To Make DIY Geometric Embroidered Fans

Once you have your materials, now you just make up shapes!

Literally just weave the embroidery needle and thread through the fans making either lines, squares, hexagons, you name it. The world is your oyster here.

What do you think? Worth the wait? I’m thinking it’s time to whip some more up for my days by the pool…
