Our Summer Pool Party with ALDI! by top Houston lifestyle blogger Ashley Rose of Sugar & Cloth

Hosted: How We Threw An Epic Summer Pool Party with Aldi!

It’s officially summer here in Houston, and my constant face “glistening” is a telltale sign! To mark the beginning of pool season, we teamed up with ALDI to share how we threw an epic summer pool party with some of our gal pals to kick off the season… on a 100-degree day. Gotta love Houston weather!

Not only can you buy all of your summer recipe staples at ALDI, but they also have LOTS of other home and entertaining goodies too. Hello, rosé under $7, $15 watermelon pool floats, gas grills, umbrellas, chilled servers, cutting boards, wine, beer, lounge chairs…you name it. Basically, you can recreate almost our entire party with a single stop at ALDI.

We hosted the event at a gorgeous On Point Custom Homes backyard, our friends at A Fare Extraordinaire compiled the recipes for savory bites and the gelato bar from ALDI ingredients, Robin from Double Trouble created the genius Morse code fruit skewer mixology bar, and we road MANY a pool float.

You may recognize some our blogger buddies that attended — Kelly from Studio DIY, Brittni from Paper & Stitch, Dede from Dress Up Buttercup, Lynsey from L. Avenue, Carrie from Carrie Colbert, Shelbi from It’s All Chic To Me, Margret from Style The Girl, Brandy from Authentically B, Nicole from Lipstick & Brunch, Alice from Lonestar Looking Glass, Madison of Madison Payne, Emily from Champagne & Chanel, Meredith of Cake and Confetti, Caroline from House of Harper, and Pam from It’s Pam Del.
