DIY Brass Ring Wall Decor
DIY Brass Ring Wall Decor — This DIY Brass Ring Wall Decor adds mid century touch all the while maintaining a light modern feel to your home.
I’ve been using brass macrame rings in DIY projects for years with everything from weavings to concrete trays.
But it wasn’t until recently it dawned on me just how freaking cool they would be all on their own…as wall art!
So naturally I had to make this DIY brass ring wall decor to add to my list.
I, Erin love the way using them in repetition creates a graphic focal point on the wall.
They’re reminiscent of bold mid-century patterning, all the while maintaining a light modern feel.
If your home is in need of a seasonal refresh, why not add a bit of ‘jewelry’ to your walls with this easy to make brass number?!

How To Make A DIY Brass Ring Wall Decor
Connect three rings in a row by wrapping each touching pair of rings together with a 4″ piece of floral wire. Twist the ends to secure and trim the tails. Repeat until you have 4 rows of 3 rings.
Connect the rows to one another with gold floral wire, so you end up with a large rectangle of connected brass rings: 3 wide and 4 high.
On the wood dowel, mark the locations where the top row of rings will meet the wood dowel (about 8″ apart).
Screw the eye hooks into the dowel simply by twisting them clockwise with your fingers.
Attach rings to the eye hooks with floral wire.
The last thing to do is to hang ‘er up, and let the Mid-Century Modern vibes flow! In addition to wall decor, what other home items do you like to switch out with the seasons?
