As it turns out, I can’t quite let the opportunity of using tiny glass bottles for something pass me by. So I decided to abuse Cupid’s holiday for my glass bottle obsession, and turn them into DIY love potion bath sets. Not bad, eh? If I hadn’t made a scene of an intro about it you would have never known that I used Cupid for all he was worth…
Materials:
- apothecary bottles (99 cents at Hobby Lobby)
- Martha Stewart Crafts mini valentine glitter set, glue included c/o
- Martha Stewart Crafts valentine gift tags, c/o
- bath salts
- bubble bath
- muslin bags (optional, Michael’s craft stores $5 for 12)
First, dip the tops of the corks in glue, trying to get a little bit of the sides too.
Then sprinkle a different shade of glitter across each one and let dry. Fill each bottle with your choice of bath accessories, add a personalized gift tag, and they’re ready to give!

This is sooo cute!
Thanks Gaby! :)
I really wish I had a Hobby Lobby by me!! This is so cute! I have to make these!!!
Not having a Hobby Lobby, that makes me sad for you! You can still shop online there though :)
This is such a darling idea! I love the glittered tops. You are so creative Ashley!

More people are going with classier fixtures and accessories in their bathrooms now than ever before. Your own bathroom should be a mini retreat and be equipped to give you both comfort and privacy. You want your bathroom to always be clean but even more than that, germ free. As a married man, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the majority of women consider the comfort of the bathroom as important as the bedroom which may explain why homes being built today have master bathrooms rival the size of bedrooms.’
