Did I mention that we still have several DIY’s up our sleeves from our recent video collab?! Ohhhh, you bet ya. This time it’s DIY shadow art with Drew Scott from Property Brothers.
Naturally, I’ve included the behind the scenes for you too, because we all know that’s the best part, right?! And of course learning the actual DIY itself, but you know what I mean…
I’ll let the video do most of the talking, but if you’re photoshop savvy, then you can make just about any photo into cool shadow art.
In case you’re not-so-tech-savvy, you can use a free online program (see the full run down on this how-to here!) to make easy silhouettes from images straight from your camera.
Of course, the real fun is in actually taking the crazy photos to use for silhouette art in the first place. These are the ones we snapped with our significant others while filming, and I’d say we get an A+ for being certifiable here.
Please don’t ask why this was Jared and I’s go-to for an “action shot” on the deck. Literally no idea, haha. Keep an eye out for another video coming soon! Any guesses on what that on will be?! Hint: it’s for foodies.
