Classic Daiquiri versus Peach Daiquiri

The daiquiri is one of the most well-known cocktails.

The classic daiquiri is made with light rum, freshly squeezed lime juice, and simple syrup.

And while the classic daiquiri is delicious on its own, it’s also a very customizable with fresh fruit purée.

Thus, it’s essentially the perfect canvas to create a flavored variation.

The Peach Daiquiri is creamy, sweet, a bit tart, and very aromatic. And adding some ice to the mix and making it frozen will make the ultimate fruity frozen treat.

Using Fresh or Frozen Peaches

We always recommend using fresh and quality ingredients. As with any recipe, the quality of the ingredients highly affects the final product!

Since it’s currently summer, peaches are in season and abundant.

It’s the perfect excuse to go grab a few good peaches from your local farmer’s market to create this delicious cocktail.

However, it’s okay to use frozen peaches, especially since this is a frozen cocktail. Frozen fruit is affordable, very convenient, and cheap.

Rose garnish peach daiquiri

How to Create the Peach Rose for Garnish

A pretty garnish always adds a dramatic finishing touch. So for each daiquiri, we paired it with a peach rose.

Simply, wash the peach. Then, peel them with a potato peeler or a knife to get a long strip of peel.

Once you have the peel, roll it until you have the rose.

Secure it with a cocktail pick to avoid losing its shape.
