Pool Noodles FAQs

Are pool noodles biodegradable?

Pool noodles are great for creating all sorts of fun decorations, but you may be wondering if they’re biodegradable.

Unfortunately, pool noodles are not biodegradable, so be sure to recycle them or donate them to your local Goodwill after you’re done using them.

How can I recycle pool noodles?

Try making a pool noodle garland if you’re looking for a fun and festive way to recycle pool noodles!

Simply cut the pool noodles into pieces and string them together. You can add any type of decoration you like, such as lights or tinsel.

This is a great project for kids and adults alike. And when the holidays are over, you can simply take the garland down and recycle the pool noodles again.

Will pool noodles melt?

While pool noodles are made of soft materials, they are actually quite durable and will not melt easily.

However, if you leave them out in the sun for too long, they may start to warp and become misshapen.

So, if you’re planning on using pool noodles as part of your decorations, be sure to bring them inside or store them in a cool, dark place when you’re not using them.

So next time you’re feeling the summer heat, but don’t want to leave your air-conditioned living room, try making this DIY Pool Noodle Garland instead.

It’s a super simple DIY way to add color to your summer and sun to your day, without having to break a sweat.

And if you do have a pool (or are lucky enough to live near one), then this garland is the perfect way to take your party up a notch.
