Ingredients Needed

  • Christmas cookie ice cream — We used Blue Bell Ice Cream. If you’re unable to find Christmas ice cream, simply make your own by mixing crushed sugar and snickerdoodle cookies into vanilla ice cream with a swirl green icing and red sprinkles.
  • White creme de cacao
  • Creme de menthe
  • Green food coloring
  • White sprinkles
  • Simple syrup

How to Make Christmas Cookie Ice Cream Shots

1 — Dip the rim of each shot glass in simple syrup. Then, dip the wet rim into white sprinkles to coat.

2 — In a blender or cocktail shaker, combine ice cream, white creme de cacao, Creme de menthe and food coloring. Blend until smooth and creamy.

3 — Pour the blended ice cream mixture into the prepared shot glasses. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes and Tips

  • Tools: We used a cocktail shaker but if you’re making a large batch, we recommend using a blender.
  • For a non-alcoholic version: Omit the alcohol and substitute for 2-ounces of milk.
  • Garnish ideas: Top with crushed candy canes, whipped cream or a sprig of mint.

  • White sprinkles optional to rim the glasses
  • Simple syrup optional to rim the glasses
