Recipe Notes and Tips

Chill your ingredients beforehand:

If you are making the juices at home (fresh is always best), prep them in advance and chill them in the fridge. This drink is best served cold so also chill your alcohol.

How to create an ombre effect:

layer the grenadine at the bottom of the glass

Optionally, you can also layer the grenadine at the bottom of the glass before adding the rest of the ingredients to create a visually appealing gradient effect. This is our preferred method as seen in the photos!

For an Iced Bahama Mama:

Mix all the ingredients in a food processor or blender with crushed ice for a frozen cocktail.

Adjust the measurements to your liking:

Feel free to adjust the amounts of each rum according to your preference. You can even make the Bahama Mama without the white rum. We recommend not skipping the coconut rum since it impacts the final flavor of the cocktail massively.
