When deciding on a party cocktail, you’ll have to keep in mind how easy it is, how it can fit in your budget and how to please everyone.

Like the Giggle Juice, Berry Punch, and Pink Panty Dropper Punch, the Jungle Juice is the ultimate drink for big gatherings.

It can be prepared in advance in a big batch.

The fruits that go inside it infuse into drink and get better as time passes.

And though it’s so delicious, it’s quite potent so drink responsibly!

Mix this beautifully sweet and fruity drink with a good conversation with friends and family.

And boom, in no time, it will be gone.

What Type of Cocktail is Jungle Juice?

Jungle Juice is considered a punch.

The cocktail is created with easy-to-get ingredients, a few spirits, mixed up with different fruit juices and sodas, and all garnished with fruit slices or even candy.

There’s no standard recipe for the Jungle Juice cocktail.

So there are quite a few different variations and recipes.

Our version of Jungle Juice is sweet, tropical and boozy (but not overly sweet nor boozy).

What Ingredients Go Inside a Jungle Juice Recipe?

White rum

One of the main spirits.

Feel free to switch to dark rum.

However, white rum is quite neutral and does not overpower the other ingredients.

Another very tasty possibility is to use coconut rum.

Vodka

For the same reason, regular vodka has almost no flavor.

So it’s the perfect addition to the Jungle juice.

If you want to switch things up, experiment with lemon vodka, tangerine vodka, or mango vodka.

Triple sec

Adds the tangy orange kick to the cocktail.

Mango and pineapple juice

These two fruit juices are the key flavor profile for the Jungle Juice cocktail.

Choose good quality fruit juice. Bottled juice works fine.

But if possible, make your own homemade juice.

Lemon lime soda

To add more sweetness and slight tanginess to the mixture.

Fresh fruit

Opt for orange, lemon, lime, pineapple, kiwi and/or strawberries.

Just don’t select mushy fruits like bananas or mango.

Our Jungle Juice recipe calls for orange, lemon, and kiwi (that’s not super ripe nor mushy).

Recipe Notes and Tips

Benefits to chilling the punch overnight:

If time is not of the essence, we recommend chilling the Jungle Juice overnight.

This allows the fruit to infuse into the drink.

You also won’t need to add any ice, and therefore won’t get a watered-down drink.

Experiment with different flavors:

Feel free to play with the flavors by using flavored vodkas or rums, like lemon vodka, mango vodka, and coconut rum.

The same goes for the fruits, juices and the soda.

Some recipes call for orange juice, cranberry juice or even fruit punch.

Club soda, sparkling soda and seltzer water are great substitutes to the lemon-lime soda.

Customizing the alcohol content:

For a less potent Jungle Juice, you can always add less liquor and more fruit juices.

Or the other way round in case you want a stronger punch (pun intended).

Garnish ideas:

Prep the glasses with some ice, add some of the fruit from the punch, sit a kiwi triangle on the glass rim.

Finish it off with a straw and paper umbrella.
