Whiskey Dreamsicle Cocktail — Dreamsicles are always a summer favorite. So what could make it even more delicious? A splash of whiskey! Here’s how with this Whiskey Dreamsicle Cocktail…
It’s officially summer and that means it’s the season of pool parties, BBQ’s, and long hot days by the water.
One of the best things about this season? Spending all day by the pool enjoying a refreshing cocktail, of course!
Yes, there’s also plenty of magical pool floats and breezy summer dresses to go around. But at the end of the day, there’s nothing like having the perfect cocktail to cool off with in the heat of summer.
I decided to put a twist on the classic dreamsicle by adding a splash (okay, okay, maybe two splashes) of vanilla whiskey to make this Whiskey Dreamsicle Cocktail.
The dreamsicle is definitely a summer favorite, and honestly, it was only a matter of time before I found a way to make it cocktail-approved, am I right?!
Cocktail Garnish Ideas
Floral garnishes are definitely having a moment (as proof in the Edible Flower Rainbow Sour Cocktail and our glossary of macarons).
And I’m never one to pass on a floral kabob! You can find edible flowers online or at your local speciality grocery store.
We also topped the Whiskey Dreamsicle Cocktail with a heart shaped orange peel!
Now just pair some sweet treats with your cocktail, and you’re ready to have yourself a party…
This cocktail is not only easy to whip up, but it’s Instagram-worthy and party approved, too!
What are some of your favorite cocktails during the summer? I would love to hear your go-to’s!
