I have always enjoyed collecting (and displaying at my desk) little inspirational bits and pieces that I come across in everyday life.

Embroidered cards, sketches and travel photos — anything that strikes my fancy.

However, I, Erin have recently come to the conclusion that too much of a good thing really can end up being a bad thing.

If there are too many things on display, my work space feels cluttered and stressful.

And those pieces of inspiration actually work to hinder the creative process, rather than inspire it.

I needed a way to wrangle in all those pieces of inspiration and pair down what was on display.

So I created a wall-hung clipboard to serve as a DIY Pin Up Clipboard of sorts that was only large enough to display a handful of pieces at a time.

The idea is to rotate the display often.

This project is as easy as attaching a big clip and a picture hanger to a piece of plywood.

But if you’re anything like me, it’ll work wonders on your creative sanity!

7 — If desired, clip the small bulldog clip onto the side or bottom of the board for more inspo-hanging power.
