First, up for Twelve Early Days of Christmas is a super simple Red Currant Champagne Cocktail that’s pretty much perfect for any time but especially for the holidays.
Just like our favorite strawberry and rose sorbet champagne cocktail, this cocktail isn’t complete without strawberries.
It takes maybe all four seconds to make. And you can even pick and choose between red currant or grenadine if you want the color, but it isn’t so much for a tart currant.
Choose between your favorite twist..
Ingredients and Materials Needed to Make a Red Currant Champagne
Your favorite champagne
Frozen red currant champagne or a splash of grenadine
Frozen strawberry
Red currant puree isn’t exactly the easiest to come by at a traditional grocery store.
So grenadine is an easy substitute for adding color and sweetness that you can still buy just about anywhere.
How to Make a Red Currant Champagne Cocktail
Step 1 – Add a splash of either frozen red currant champagne or a splash of grenadine to a glass of champagne.
Step 2 – Drop in a frozen strawberry.
And you’ve got cuteness and taste all in one simple drink!
Plus, it’s perfect for refilling the refreshment table without having to be away from the party.
This is the perfect drink for someone who wants something festive but doesn’t want to put in a lot of effort.
It’s also a great choice if you’re looking for a valentine’s cocktail that isn’t too sweet.
We also recommend trying our baileys strawberries and cream pink mudslide recipe for Valentine’s Day.
If you want to add even more flavor, try using your favorite twist on this recipe.
