This slightly moody, but mostly romantic setup is perfect for a Fall dinner with friends or a scary movie watch party. We’ve teamed up with Bloomingdale’s for this dinner ensemble, and now I basically want to put marble boards under every place setting for the rest of time.
You can also dress it up to be read even more Halloween with pumpkins and gourds, or just let the color scheme do the talking for you.
And while you can easily recreate this look with the click of an online shopping button, I’ve also included a few easy DIY touches that you can make at home too…
A Sophisticated Halloween Dinner Table Setting
I’m also a big fan of adding as many moody candles to the mix as you can, so I may have a gone a teensy bit overboard with the Voluspa goodies, but hey, we smell good and that’s what counts here.
Now if only I owned as many Michael Aram plate settings as I do candles, we’d be set for dinner table life.
I mean, how freaking cute is this modern white plate with the perfect edgy rim that you could mix into any occasion. I ended up using these cast iron tidbit plates because I loved the way they paired with the marble boards as chargers, but more is more when it comes to me and a little M.A. if you know what I mean.
For an extra touch of Fall color, I used floral wire to tie in the blooms to the back of the woven chairs, and a little bit of greenery swirling around one side of the marble chargers.
The texture the florals added was just what the table needed!
Add Fog for a Spooky Effect
