Materials and Tools Needed
- Flowers of your choice
- Floral water tube: Optional for keeping the flowers fresh
- Gift box: We choose a plain white gift box and decided to decorate it by create an ombré effect in Ballet Slipper. To achieve an ombré look, spray a few light coats of paint along the bottom of the box, gradually lifting upward as you spray. Let the paint dry completely before adding the flowers.
- Floral shears or scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks

How to Make a DIY Fresh Flower Gift Box
This project is really as simple as gluing your favorite flowers to the top of a gift box.
1 — Prepare the flowers:
Trim each stem down so it sits justbelow the bloom.
2 — Secure the flowers:
Use hot glue to secure the flowers directly onto the top of the box. If you’d prefer to keep fresh flowers hydrated, place them in floral tubes filled with water to create a small bouquet. Glue the floral tubes (or mini vase) to the box instead of attaching the flowers individually.
