That said, we’re also not going to spend two months of our life constructing and/or welding a very detailed brass structure just to get this look on a budget.

Instead, we’ve come up with this Simple DIY Geometric Wreath that you can make in less than 15 minutes but will still give your door decor plenty of that “wow” factor!

After our 1-minute DIY cararra marble place cards from last week and now this 15-minute project (and half of that is waiting for paint to dry while you’re eating cookies), we may be a lazy crafter.

But oh, the contrary! We like to think we just craft smarter, not harder…

Materials and Tools Needed to Make a DIY Geometric Wreath

Wire wreath frame —  We used a 12″ green wire frame and 18″ green wire frame.

Spray paint for metal surfaces in the color of your choice  — Ours was an interior/exterior spray paint in metallic gold.

Hot glue gun and glue sticks 

Faux greenery stems — We grabbed random leaves at Hobby Lobby so we no idea what type of leaf they are!

Clear adhesive hooks — For hanging

How to Make a Simple DIY Geometric Wreath

This project is done in two easy steps.

Step 1 – Spray paint the wire frame in the color of your choice, and allow them to dry.

Step 2 – Hot glue your greenery on.

And then, hang with clear adhesive hooks!

Pretty simple, right?! The options are pretty much endless on the shapes and sizes of the wireframes since they sell so many kinds for crafting.

We really wanted to make a square version from a wreath frame. But I couldn’t find a basic frame shape I liked for them. If you hunt one down, be sure to let us know!
